Default avi to dvd with NERO VISION EXPRESS 3

forbidden14eva wanted a guide with screenshots so i m posting it here.
NeroVision Express 3 is our new video capturing, authoring and burning software. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to capture your videos from DV cameras and other external video devices and record them to DVD-Video, Video CD (VCD), Super Video CD (SVCD) and miniDVD. With the many features offered in this powerful multimedia software, you will have numerous options for creating and managing your memories. Even those who are new to the world of video will find using NeroVision Express 3 to be easy and enjoyable.

Although nerovision express has got numerous functions, i am going to show how to create a dvd using nerovision
Open up ur nerovision express like its shown below.

U will be guided to this page

click on make dvd and u will get 2 options. Click on dvd video. It will open the following page. On the page shown under, u can maintain the contents of your project. The content list displays your project's titles. Use the menu items on the page to create new video titles and slide shows. New video titles can also be added by dragging video files into the content list from Windows Explorer. You can also edit, rename, set chapters for, rearrange, and delete existing titles. Video titles can be merged into a new title. Select the titles you want to merge, then click the Merge button.

Click on add video files. the following page will pop up. browse the files u want to convert to dvd and burn and click on open.

u may get a warning from nero like shown under.

click on yes if u want to reduce the size. i do click yes so that the file fits on a 4.7gb dvd.

u ll see the following picture then. it will tell u how much space is it going to take.

click on next . this comes up next

here u can choose the templates, create titles and chapters or only titles or no titles at all. this option is available on the right upper corner. make ur desired settings and click next.

click next afetr examining ur settings.

simply click on burn. Note that u require a lot of space in ur temp files folder to complete the burning process. if u get an error regarding this u must increase the space. after resolving this issue, click on burn and the last screen pops up showing how much time nero is going to take to convert and burn ur video files.

sit back and relax while nero does it for u.

Hope this helps
