Movie Rules
1) Basic Requirements
- Screen shots are mandatory for all releases; screens must be taken from the rip only.
- Sample required for all releases
- Technical Information required for all releases. Use 'Media info' or 'GSpot' to check for details.
- The following information should be provided:
- Source
- Runtime
- Video information should have :
- Video resolution
- Video Frame rate
- Video bitrate
- Video codec
- Audio information should have :
- Audio language
- Audio codec
- Audio bitrate
- Subtitle info.
- File size
2) Thread title format
- Movie Name
- Year
- x264/xvid specific
- Source (PreDVD:PreDVDRip, DVD: DVDRip, Blu-Ray: etc)
- Transcoding is not allowed.
- Codec (XviD/x264)
- Subs
- DVDR specific
- Encoder used [optional]
- Video type (NTSC/PAL)
- Group name [if any]
3) Rules specific to DVD-R sections
- The following technical information must be provided:
- Video type (NTSC or PAL)
- Encoder used (CCE/HC/ProCoder/QuEnc etc.)
- Menus are needed unless the original DVD does not have menus or mentioned in special notes.
- Preference for Manual encodes:
- Unwanted buttons in the menu disabled.
- Superior audio track preferred always, stripping the others.
- If source has DD 5.1 and DD 2.0, DD 5.1 be used while stripping DD 2.0.
- If source has DD 5.1 and DTS, DD 5.1 preferred, inclusion of DTS is ripper?s discretion.
- Oversize must be burn tested.
4) Rules specific to Hi-Def Releases section
- This section is for Blu-Ray/HD-DVD dumps & rips with 720p/1080p resolution.
5) Upscaled DVDRips are not allowed in any section
