SUJAL WEDS KASHISH



We at indiantelevision.com were the first to tell you that Rajeev Khandelwal and Aamna Sharrif are an off-screen couple as well.
We met with some flak, err, natural reaction, from those concerned, but we let it pass. A few hours ago, the couple into matrimony at Sankraman. Obviously, we are referring to their on-screen wedding. .

We were there to read the excitement on their faces. But both being fairly good actors, they concealed it pretty well. Reason? The script demanded it. For Sujal, it was more of a relief. His long chase for Kashish is over; the poor guy has been chasing the petite beauty since almost the first episode. For Kashish, it is a revenge plan; she wants to put him behind bars 'coz she thinks he is responsible for her husband Piyush's death.

Over to how it all started. The irresistibly charming Rajeev was reserved. Aamna thought he had attiude! Aamna broke the ice. 'Why don't you join me in my birthday party?' she called him in Goa. That was seven months after they had started shooting! And guess what! Rajeev did not come over.
But once back, slowly they got talking. And then... they got along like a house on fire. The rest, as they say, is history.

Today often, they are invited to make joint appearances in cultural functions and various other events. Film producers are eager to cast them together. Arguably the hottest couple on small screen, their mobile phones have been bombarded with congratulatory messages since today morning. As if they're getting married 'sachmuch'!

But what if it was 'sachmuch'? Says Rajeev 'Oh please, stop pulling our leg. Marriages are made in heaven. We are just good friends,' adding, 'The entire wedding shoot was quite taxing. The airconditioners had to be switched off since the candles and agni couldn't be lighted otherwise.'

We wonder if the 'Suhaag Raat' scene has been shot. We didn't ask them that. Or let's say, we won't tell you. Reason? 'Agar sab kuch jaan lenge to maza kirkira ho jayega'!
